So…
This is a boat.
And this boat is near some mountains.
And these mountains happen to be green.
And this really annoyed me because I kept doing things wrong.
It’s not perfect… buuuuuut, I tried.
And the animation doesn’t want to work in a post again so you’re going to have to click to see it.

*animations = classwork

1* What is an animation? = An animation is a moving picture or drawing.
2* What is a frame in animation? = A single picture that shows what is happening at a certain moment in time.
3* What is frame rate or fps (frame per second)? = How fast the frames are being shown or the animation is moving.
4* How does an animation looks like if the frame rate is 1 fps? Only one frame would be shown per second. It would not be smooth.
5* What will happen to an animation if the frame rate is 24 fps? The animation would be fast and smooth.
6* What is exaggeration in animation? = Exaggeration is overstating the figure of an object or drawing.
7* Explain how you will apply the ‘Stretching and Squashing” principle in animation. = As the ball is hitting a surface, squash it. When it hits a surface, stretch it. The slower it is, the less it will squash and stretch.
8* How will you show through animation that an object is heavy? = Do not stretch or squash it a lot.
9* How will you show through animation that an object is very light? = Make it stretch and squash more than a heavy object.

*holga history & lightroom effect = classwork

Some Holga effect questions and such.

What is the Holga effect?
It is an effect that closely mimics the Holga, a medium format 120 film toy camera.

How did it start? Where and when?
The Holga was created in 1981 in China. It was made by T. M. Lee to provide a cheap camera to the working-class in China.

What are the basic identifying characteristics of a photo applied with the Holga effect?
The contrast seems to be a little higher, the blacks a little darker, and it is supposed to look soft and dream-like.

Give a link from the Internet where group of people are talking and sharing about this photography effect.
CLANK

Give two examples of Holga photograph done by others.
BANG & BOOM

And some pictures with some Lightroom Holga presets. The presets were a bit too grainy for me so I pulled up the luminance noise reduction bar and pulled down the grainy bar.
